From the hotel:

If you want to take the subway, the L will get you there in 15 min. Take the Canarsie-Rockaway-bound L train at Lorimer St 2 stops and exit at Grand St. This includes 15 min of walking.

An Uber ride would be 5 min from the hotel to Grimm.

It is also a 20 min walk straight down Metropolitan Ave.

From anywhere else:

Take the L to Grand St. and walk 10-15 min down Grand, then over to Metropolitan Ave.

Both! Lala’s Apizzeria has a semi-shaded deck and an indoor area that we’ll be moving between.

September in Brooklyn can be 90 degrees and sunny, or 55 and raining. We’re hoping for the former, but best to keep an eye on the forecast just in case.

We’ll have a photographer! Please refrain from using your phone during the ceremony.

There will be disposable cameras for use during the reception. Take one, use it, and drop it off with us at the end of the night :)

Getting to the Nethermead is easiest from the east side park entrance near the Prospect Park subway stop (B/S/Q) on Lincoln Rd.

If you’re coming from the west side, you can enter the park from Prospect Park SW. From there, head east into the heart of the park.

Bring a drink, a hat, and sunscreen.

This is a grassy knoll, so be prepared to sit on the ground! Anyone who lives in the area, please bring something to sit on.

If it rains Friday, we’ll move inside at Grimm.

If it rains Saturday, we’ll have a secondary location for those who still want to meet up, and will let everyone know via email.
